Adviser to the Board

In 2008 John became a client of Dart Capital and an Adviser to the Board of the company. At the time of the buyout he provided invaluable advice to the management team and continues to advise the Board on a wide range of issues including strategic direction and the development of our service to suit top London professionals.

John was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 22 years from May 1982 to December 2004, starting his career with Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths & Co in 1969. He specialised in tax and after becoming a partner was responsible for creating and then building the PwC specialist services in the UK to Private Clients and successful entrepreneurs together with their private or quoted companies. From 1996 he was the managing partner of this business in the UK, and after 1998 he was also responsible for developing the business in Europe.

The range of advice provided by PwC for his clients covered their diverse needs from tax through corporate finance strategic planning and succession planning to investment. John is also a consultant to AVT Group, a media company based in Brighton.
